Architectural and functional upgrading with securing the gymnasium of the “Riccati Luzzatti” institute in Treviso

Description

The main interventions concern the seismic improvement of the building with the execution of rungs in reinforced concrete at the existing pillars for the placement of vertical steel bracing. All the rails, executed on micropiles, will be connected to the existing structure at the foundation level to connect the r.c. structure in the roof slab, a circular cable frame and HEB-type beams are planned to support the roof slab. The new metal structures will be covered by means of a plasterboard structure. The canopy at the entrance will be demolished, the bathrooms improved, the plasterboard ceilings redone, the gymnasium will be completely repainted inside and partially outside, the windows and doors will be replaced, the sheet metalwork and the electrical system adjusted, and the roof waterproofed.
